A franchise’s single-season home run record holder got traded yesterday. But since it was to the Brewers, who cares??

No one wanted to see Steve Balboni’s name excised from the record book

He could have said it was an AL team (rather than naming them) and I would've assumed it was the Rangers had I not already known better.

Another great moment in baseball history at Yankee Stadium.

The Angels’ Francisco Arica just set the MLB record by getting his 10th RBI is his second career game. He’s 5 for 7 with two HRs.

All because he started the year in the minors.

Some classic "Get out of my yard!" action here by a talking head. I suspect some of the angst stems from the team's struggles against the Dodgers, who seem capable of winning even though they commit atrocities against mankind every night in batting practice.

Sure, the shirt helps THOSE children.... but what about the children who went to the game and witnessed Chase Utley taking batting practice without a full uniform? Won't someone think of them?

And he has thrown 117 pitches. He's probably going to need at least 130, which seems a bit dangerous for a very gifted 25-year-old.

LOL 133 pitches, then a single with two outs and two strikes in the ninth.
