Cleveland has now invested Mejia, Sheffield and Frazier into middle relievers (assuming Allen keeps his job). That better be an area of strength.

I made this Hand for Mejia trade in Out of the Park Baseball months ago. I expect royalties, Mike Chernoff.

You are in a time warp.
    Those are 2017 ratings.

Well, the Royals made two World Series in a row not too long ago. They had several of those players on the team at the beginning of this year. Their delusional fans thought they would compete again this year. We'll see if those ratings bottom out over the course of the season.

Are Royals fans being criticized for being loyal? Is that what it's come to, that neutral fans should have the disgusting values of TV executives?

I don't think many Royals fans ever expected to contend this year. But KC has always been a Royals town (and the Great Plains a Royals region) at heart. It took a solid decade of ownership not appearing to even try to compete before support really started to dip.

KC fans are more than willing to suffer through a bad season or two if there looks to be a real plan to rebuild.

You have to think the Dodgers would be higher if anyone could see their games on TV.

    Especially since Carrasco is 4.
