He'll just take his toys and go home, then.

True. Didn't realize it was four days. That Jesus, always having to one-up people.

I went to a mall recently and it was hands down one of the most depressing places I've ever been, between the closed storefronts, salespeople in the corridors hawking stupid gadgets, and the seedy clientele. I don't miss shopping in stores, but I do miss browsing book stores. I used to be able to walk to a Barnes & Noble in midtown NYC, a good 10-minute walk either way. Always killed an hour or more of my day, between the walk and browsing, on those days when work was relatively light. Now I work in a town where I can't even find a single place that sells the New York Review of Books. And this is no podunk town. Whatever, obviously the demand isn't there, but it still sucks. I love book stores and I have to drive to the next town to find one.

People are so used to having stuff delivered these days. If I was interested in starting a restaurant, I wouldn't even make dine-in a priority, but would design the business around delivery.
