After all the stories on these last few pages, I'm really wondering what your image of a high school teacher's life is like.

 

Probably depends on the school and district.

Have probably a dozen teachers I keep in touch with - 30 years after I was a student. They’re all retired, traveling, seemingly happy and still very much engaged in the world. They don’t seem as burned out as I would expect.
