  2. Really?
I am 3 episodes into Season 2 ... its Ok.
I have a really, really, REALLY hard buying the mayoral candidate falling for Billy. He comes off as a total loser and it, for some reason, makes her moist? Really?
I enjotyed Season , but they really crammed/wrapped everything up in the last 2/3 episodes.

Best Netflix docu crime person, IMHO.

The observation about the Bagwhan and Young Life is worth the wait.

    Dumb like a fox.

My God, could this actually be better than seasons 1 and 2?

Finished the true crime docuseries “The Staircase” on Netflix.

I love this sort of stuff and somehow never knew about this case that began in 2001 and didn’t end until 2017.

Enjoyed it. Amazing they decided to film this from the beginning, as the Michael Peterson trial started.

It dragged at times. Thirteen episodes probably could have been a tighter 10.

Still don’t know for sure what happened. But it was compelling.

Anyone familiar with the case as it happened in real time? Obviously the documentary is sympathetic to Micheal Peterson, so my view is likely biased.

A few people from The Staircase wound up being key players in the Duke Lacrosse saga a few years later.

I just disliked Peterson so much that I couldn’t watch it anymore.

I liked his lawyer, but I could not figure out what he had against anti perspirants.

The Staircase is on my list. I did watch the Dateline about it and thought he looked pretty guilty to me.

I always feel bad for the kids caught in these situations.

The doc does a pretty good job of head fakes. Multiple times I found myself changing my mind on Peterson’s guilt. But it’s mostly from his POV and designed that way.

I found him quirky but not totally unlikeable. The case is just so odd. Won’t spoil it for those who are yet to watch.

And if I needed a defense lawyer, David Rudolf seems like a good one. And he was very compelling in the series.

They do a good job of building as the season progresses.

Watched "Evil Genius" on Netflix over the weekend. Wild stuff.
