I went to that several times when I lived there. Trenton has a way of fucking up even its best attributes.

The Trenton train station is easily one of the scariest places I’ve ever been.

LOL, there's one woman who's quite a character.

By and large, though, it's not so bad.

I walked straight from my NJ transit train to the phone charging station while waiting for a connecting Amtrak. Dude turned, looked at me and said, “fuckin kick your ass, man” and turned away.

I decided then my phone had sufficient battery to make it as long as I needed and walked away.

As a proud son of NJ, I admit that the state's 'cities' are the worst.
So much of NJ is great, but almost every place that most people would consider a 'city' is cesspool.

Agree, although each city has some good people and good parts. But the worst parts of Jersey City, Paterson, Newark, Camden, Atlantic
City and Trenton are very bad. There are probably at least 20 different gangs(sets) in those cities.
