Didn't Perez and Peavy debut about the same time? Who would've thought Perez outlasts Peavy by this much. Wasn't Perez also the one who went to
the Mets when the pitching coach (think it was that loon Rick Peterson) said he could fix Perez's mechanics in 5 minutes.

This is weird. It's only June. The Brewers usually wait until much later in the season to start vomiting all over themselves.

I think that was Victor Zambrano. And give Peterson a little more credit for modesty—he said it’d take a whole 10 minutes!

Peavy debuted about a week later, June
    22 and just turned 37

I looked up the boxscore and saw Perez got the win, Jamie Moyer the loss and Trevor Hoffman the save.

Off the top of my head, Ichiro is the only other guy to play after 2010.

Yeah, I think it was Zambrano, who did have some talent, but never put it all together.

I remember walking into my newsroom and being told the Mets traded Kazmir for Zambrano and thinking it was a heckuva deal. Then I found out it wasn't for Carlos.

Zambrano had all the talent in the world but was an emotional wreck. Getting him a little help would have gone a long way.
