Authoritarian, running for third term as governor, receives endorsement from Hillary Clinton, in primary battle vs. progressive, openly gay, female challenger:

Gov. Cuomo has a message for conservative Republicans — you don’t belong in New York.

Cuomo said Friday that members of the GOP with “extreme” views are creating an identity crisis for their party and represent a bigger worry than Democrats such as himself.
“Their problem isn’t me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves,” the governor said on Albany’s The Capitol Pressroom radio show.

“Who are they? Right to life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

He added that moderate Republicans, such as those in the state Senate, “have a place in their state.”

Gotta love the accuracy in this tweet.

No player has been compelled to stand for the anthem, and I'm pretty sure the commissioner wasn't "justifying his decision to stand with Trump" when he said this.

They are compelling players on field to stand for the national anthem. Reading is fundamental.

But not compelling them to be on the field.

Thus, no one is compelled to stand for the anthem,

Cuomo is a putz with a history of ridiculous blanket statements like that one. But he has made himself an enemy of public school teachers and administrators, so I'm surprised you don't like him just for that.

Nixon's views on many things, including education, are more appealing than Cuomo's, but her only qualification for the job is name recognition. No wonder you seem to be taking her side. You like the idea of her as a future target.

The tweet is correct as written.

They are compelling players *ON FIELD* to stand for the anthem.

The rest is you making up words.

And if being a soldier in the culture war means spending literally hours a day examining tweets for perceived liberal bias, or the latest Hillary shenanigans, you can have it. It's what you do literally hours a day. Jesus, you are a weirdo.

    But...but....Cuomo said something shitty!

I'm sure YankeeFan will be along with a "fair enough" very soon.
