Pretty innovative plan involving Romo pitching the first inning. But how does it work if the opponent nicks him for 3-4 runs? Not knocking the idea, just wondering what the loopholes are.

    Bryce Harper is batting .224.

Wait. Don’t all Nationals have teammates who make them better hitters?

I don't know about Harper, but I guess that's the end of Trump.

Another scoreless start for Romo. This only looks illegal.

I was impressed by Otani. Little shaky at first but he got stronger as the game went on

Oops. I guess I haven’t had enough of a sample size to know how to spell his name

The Orioles had 13 hits and were shut out. That seems impossible.

That sounds like Matt Cain was pitching for Baltimore.

Not the only all-star off to a bad start.

Paul Goldschmidt: .204 BA, 33 hits, 60 strikeouts. But he is 2-for-2 stealing bases.

Murphy hasn't played yet this season. Eaton is hurt. Zimmerman is both hurt, and sucks again. Taylor isn't hurt, but also sucks again. Weiters has always sucked, and he's hurt, too.

Harper's not doing himself any favors, but if you subscribe to, "it's good to have good hitters around you," he hasn't had much to work with.
