Why does Manny Machado suck now?

He isn’t doing shit at third base though.

 

How’s he doing at SS?
TO be fair, Orioles pitchers tend to give up long shots in a bandbox of a ball park. Does he have a lot of opportunities to make a play?

 

Made a great play Friday night. Dove to his far left, flat out, then backhanded to second while on his stomach. Force at second ended the inning, preserving a 3-1 lead. Cleveland had two runners on at the time.

 

He’s a fantastic talent. And the Orioles need to get rid of him if they want to be any good in the next 10 years.

 

Yep, they need another Erik Bedard type of trade. Might be too late to pull off a haul anywhere close to that one. In retrospect, it should have happened last year. Damn wild card keeps teams (and fanbases) hoping and dangling too long sometimes.
