Yes he is. Whole second act of his set when I went to see him was requests, which he instructed the crowd to send onto stage via paper airplanes.

They're playing my city this summer. Would like to go. The singer, she has a tremendous voice.

Question to crowdsource: Is there somewhere you can find out generally what time an act takes the stage? We have Jack White tickets in Grand Rapids on Saturday night, but my son also has a baseball game on Saturday afternoon. We're trying to time things so that we can comfortably get to Grand Rapids on time to enjoy a pop or two before the show, but we also don't want to miss any more of the game than we have to. (Plus, I'm an assistant coach.)

Is there any kind of clearinghouse site on that kind of information?

I know, that seems great. Did he stop composing a song on the spot?

I forgot about that, but yes, he did that too.

I've never known of one. If you email or call, the venue will probably tell you what time each band is supposed to start. Most places are pretty rigid with start and end times now, no matter how spontaneous the shows are made to appear.

I always thought it should be included with the information on setlist.fm.

There was a Bob Dylan fansite I used to read so dedicated to the man that a message board was littered with elaborate reviews of each show. Most would tell you the exact minute he took the stage.
