He did make an appearance during his hiatus at an independent show with the belt, so there was that.

Technically, he never said he wasn't the champion after he "left":

IIRC, it was before that. He didn't have "unemployed" the next day, or two, after MITB.

More precision on Daniel Bryan's return:

-He was cleared on Monday night by WWE

-Bryan accepted to pass an ImPACT concussion test after every match to monitor if there'll be any issues.

-As for his schedule, he won't be working completely full-time but WWE is looking to have a schedule for Bryan that is very similar to the one Randy Orton has. Meaning that he doesn't work all of the house shows and has several weekends off. So, I'd say that Bryan's schedule would probably be in the ballpark of 150 to 175 dates a year, maybe 200 tops. Which is far more than what I would've expected WWE to give him.

    Re: DB

That first bump he took from Owens looked sick. I legit thought he hit his head on the mat but he seemed OK so that's a good thing.

Would have been funny if Maxel dropped it.

On a side note, I wonder if Maxel ever wonders to himself why there are so many cameras around, why Daddy is talking so funny, and why Grandpa keeps carrying around a shovel.

Matt's carrying out "draining Abigail" from Bray on Twitter so there's more vignettes coming Monday no doubt. I have a feeling that lantern is going to work like a Horcrux/cursed item and Maxel is going to end up bringing Bray back somehow, maybe stronger than ever. I dunno.

    Whatever happens, I'm in.

I love everything they're doing with this feud. Between Gargano and Ciampa's straight skills and the blood hatred, this has a good chance at being the match of WrestleMania weekend, presuming they do finally set a match for Takeover (for WWE at least).

Ciampaa has been incredible in this whole thing. Basically hasn't spoken one word and has the heat of 1,000 suns.
