    Loved those bear books when I was a kid, but when you're an adult you realize just how god awful they are. Too far, indeed.

    I send my granddaughter a Clifford the Big Red Dog book every couple of weeks. Can't wait to get down there and read to her again. I don't think there's a subliminal message in there. Though maybe? Big Red Dog? Is Clifford Russian?

    Looks like he made special Christian-themed BB books for Zondervan targeted for Christian bookstores.
