Snowden was good, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt did too good of a job channeling Snowden whose speech pattern is a cure for insomnia, throw in Oliver Stone's alergic reaction to subtly - (Seriously, people are going to a theater to see a movie about Snowden by Oliver Stone, you don't need to do a lot of convincing) and it should have been better.

I finally caught Spiderman: Homecoming the other night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yeah, the MCU bits are a little intrusive, particularly Tony Stark checking in every half hour, but it was a fun romp. I look for the sequel to be even better.

Black Panther. Helluva flick. Didn’t know one thing about the character going in.

Great performances by all. Highly entertaining.

I used to go to Harvelle's, the bar where Axel and his buddy were playing pool early in the movie. It's not in Detroit, it's in Santa Monica. It's a stellar jazz club now.

  8. Split.
First M. Night Shamalan movie i have watched in years. It was good.
Not super geeked up for the a follow up to Unbreakable though, that movie was really slow.

Split was enjoyable. McAvoy did a good job.

You'll be surprised to learn that Armond White does not love Black Panther.

Absolutely. So well done, and Peter O'Toole was perfect casting.
