Could have been worse: Two ice dancers making out to it.

Just curious: has Dale Earnhardt Jr. done any Olympics stories yet?

Biathlon. I’d keep the gun after she fires it five times.

Why do our ice skaters suck now?

It's crazy. The U.S. has never gone three straight Olympics without a podium finish. Ever. Longest gold drought since Tenley Albright won the first U.S. gold in '56.
And it isn't like it's an anomaly. Only one podium finish in the last ten years (Wagner) at the annual World Championships.

Canada down 4-2 to Germany early in the third period.

Am I wrong to say that Lindsey Vonn looks more like Sharon Stone, except she looks like the Sharon Stone of the last 5 years. Not the Sharon Stone of Basic Instinct.

Last night, the broadcasters explained something about how the Russian skating federation changed a rule to allow younger kids to start trying more difficult jumps at a younger age. The US federation didn't change it for a couple of years after that - which put our figure skaters behind the curve.

Lipinski said that. It sounded reasonable.
