It's akin to someone writing, "That book costs $20 dollars."

If that’s the case, that’s poor writing and editing. You can’t put “pre-school swim class” and expect people to not think you’re talking about preschool-age children.

 

It’s pre-school age. Later on, they mention a 3-year-old victim.
