It’s the backlash to the backlash.

Whatever you think about the Ansari story, it's pretty clearly fucked up the #MeToo movement in pretty fundamental ways. It's the first one that I recall that has divided the side.

    So wrong, and funny.

Rather than a well-reported, multi-source exposé, it reads like a cross between a second-hand blog post and a sexual Yelp review.

The star of the movie was on Ellen last week and he joked about it. I couldn't figure out why it was on pornhub

I don't think it has much to do with Christian sensibilities at all. I think men and women have sat on the stagnation for years, MeToo has in part unleashed it, and now we'll see not a whole hell of a lot has changed.

How do I put this? I can write all the words you wrote. They're...not that hard to write. It's standard enlightenment era stuff.

I think we live in a shallow culture that’s rooted more in how something is presented than what it presented.

YF just kicked the cat and screamed, "Goddammit, she has MS! Their were color pictures, goddammit!!!"

It’s cumulative fatigue and on some level snobbery from the bigger publications.

I see it as a poorly reported and edited story in a glorified student publication that probably shouldn’t have been published in the first place.

He even has bad grammar when he screams? That's next-level consistency.

That seems like a strange way to evaluate the newsworthiness of a particular piece, from an editor’s perspective: Will this story advance what this hashtag movement has become understood to mean?
