Is your Christmas tree still up?

I have a two-week window with my hauler. After that they won't take any trees.

Went out with the dog yesterday morning and the trashmen had come and picked up The Very Little Tree and I hated myself for assigning a perfectly good, still-living tree to the wood chipper or whatever they do with them. It served me well and I feel like I let it down.

It brought joy and happiness and looked way cool while doing so.

How many get to do that?

Tree goes up day after Thanksgiving and goes to the curb the day after New Year’s. Clockwork.

We put some Viagra in the Christmas tree’s water. If it’s still up in April, we’re probably going to have to call someone.

We're not turning the lights on anymore. Might be able to get everything packed up and in the garage by next week.

Done the same since childhood, which is about 45 years now. Tree goes up week of Thanksgiving, usually the day after. Tree comes down Jan. 2. This year those plans got altered as a winter storm was forecast to come rolling through on Jan. 1, so we took her down a couple days early.

My neighbor across the street, though, must be Scrooge's cousin.

He puts his Christmas decorations --- wreaths, lights, everything --- out the day after Thanksgiving, which is a good time for it. Then, like clockwork, he takes it all down Christmas Day morning. I've never seen anyone in my life take their shit down by 11 a.m. Christmas Day but this guy does it every year. It's depressing.

First snow of the year this morning. No way any Christmas winter decorations are going down in this setting. She'll probably insist we turn the lights on.

The one in the basement is still up.
Wife of Fart wanted the main one down first week of January.
I always say we have to wait for the kings to come.

The Kings are home tonight against the Penguins. Take it down.
