    As opposed to the problems we used to face, many of which have abated through advancements in medicine.

    There is something to be said about our overmedication. Do we really need a pill for restless leg syndrome? That's a world away from antidepressants, though.

    Edit: Apparently RLS is much more serious than I believed. I feel like a douche (again).

    I have an uncle with restless leg syndrome.
    It is a tragic and debilitating condition.

    Heh. Some just cut to the quick right away. "Side effects could be fatal."

    Which reminds me (threadjack coming): Wife was prescribed some flomax after being diagnosed with a kidney stone a couple of years ago. While reading the label, she comes across the side effects, one of which says "ejaculation problems."

    "What is ejaculation?" she asked. "Does it have something to do with vomiting?"
