Hell of a comeback by Notre Dame, which hit a pair of free throws with two seconds left to beat Wichita State.

I hate this time of year. You look at the bottom of the screen and see a score of a game in progress and say HOLY CRAP - and then realizing it's a basketball score. Or the inverse.

    Or a women’s game.

I love looking at the power ratings this time of year to see which mid-major teams are making noise. Looks like Belmont is one of those teams again. Davidson and Texas-Arlington look pretty stout as well.

Mike Brey looked like a homeless guy with his shorts and tee-shirt.

Don't be fooled. UTA will fold when it matters.

And still, if Harrison Barnes were to get hurt they'd be the best Mavericks team in the Metroplex.

After a horrid football season at Oregon State, I was looking forward to hoops. Losses to Wyoming and St. Johns cured me of that notion. Cal and Zona look like they're in for a rough year as well.

USC needing overtime to get by Vandy seems less than impressive after watching UVA make the Dores look like a junior high girls team yesterday. Virginia was up 39 at one point and I’m confident could have won by 45 or 50 if Tony Bennett wasn’t such a kind Christian man.
