The voters are not very big American Gladiators fans and hold it against him.

Due to ties there were 27 semifinalists this time, so my overall number was off by picking 25.

I had Donovan McNabb, Zach Thomas and Bill Cowher over some combo of LeRoy Butler, Karl Mecklenburg, Leslie O'Neal, Richard Seymour and Everson Walls

Guessing at the 15 finalists I will say:

    Tony Boselli
    Isaac Bruce
    Don Coryell
    Roger Craig
    Brian Dawkins
    Alan Faneca
    Joe Jacoby
    Edgerrin James
    Ty Law
    Ray Lewis
    John Lynch
    Kevin Mawae
    Randy Moss
    Terrell Owens
    Brian Urlacher

    With the five inductees being:
    Dawkins
    Lewis
    Moss
    Owens
Jacoby (Faneca/Boselli or Urlacher could go in this slot here. I think Urlacher gets left out because he's not Ray Lewis)

No Torry Holt on either list? Here's what he thinks of that:

Christensen's comps include Dave Casper, Ditka and Rob Gronkowski.

I know it was just an excuse to post the picture but he is a clear No. 4 behind the three WR and there's no way they put that many from one position when the total is 15. Bruce is the one that should be pissed about Owens having to wait, because with Moss becoming eligible it knocked him down the ladder.

If Owens and Moss don’t go in this year, it’s a disgrace. Already a disgrace that Owens had to wait at all. Surprised by McNabb’s omission.

I’m a Steelers fan and I think Ray Lewis is a phony blowhard. But he was a two-time DPOY winner, 7-time first team All-Pro, 3-time second team All-Pro, Super Bowl MVP and two-time champion. If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, they should just close the joint.
