Just so we’re clear, you don’t find anything objectionable about that statement?

It took all week but YF you finally got an outlier to sink your teeth into!

I have not given an opinion on her statement. Why are you unable to answer the question? What is wrong and objectionable about the statement?

    I asked:
"What was wrong with the statement?"

Can we get lakefront a tutorial on the quote function?

I did use it in the first go round, but the guy has dodged the question so much that I really don't know how to get all the quotes in. Maybe he could answer the question. It was surely the simplest one he got all day

Thing is, who the fuck would disagree with her revised demand?

    “Every woman should be believed!”

“I don’t necessarily agree with that. It goes too far.”

“You don’t think women should be taken seriously?!”

People rhetorically rig the deck all the time. Look at this site. People switch from “assault” to “harassment” when my sole objection is with “assault.” People say that Trump “defended neo-Nazis.”

Is there a piece on the fabric where we're supposed to believe women who defend men from these allegations? Or is the outrage here because it's Lena?

We’re outraged because Lena has been such a school marm about this very issue, and others. She tried to get flight attendants fired.

Now, we’re just supposed to trust her.

And she tried to change the prescribed reaction to accusations.

Or is it because, How DARE they accuse someone from my show!

When I asked on this board this week if it was acceptable to simply “take allegations seriously,” people wouldn’t even answer the question.

Now the moral center of the movement has quietly changed the “default” to what I - “creepy,” “misogynistic” @Dick Whitman - advocated. A default, by the way, that no sentient person would have disagreed with to begin with.

So what the hell is the debate now? What was any of this even for?

People vote for the right people - I vote for those people, too! - and they think it giv s them the moral authority to unilaterally change the rules as things go along.

I have never ever heard anyone say, “I wonder what Lena’s position is on this issue?”
