It's time to fire John Skipper.

But isn't this a good practice for a broadcasting company primarily focused on sports? If something is potentially offensive to women, shouldn't it be examined and potentially cut?

    guh.

Basically Big Cat and PFT lost their show because of Portnoy and the Barstool branding. But he's got a right to protect his brand bc he helped make them, or at least helped make them bigger. Reminds me of when Daulerio sabotaged Craggs interview with John Walsh for Grantland. It's like, yeah, we don't wanna stand in your way bc this is a great opportunity, but meanwhile you're gonna get me at 100 in an effort to remind everyone that this is a bad fit.

Yeah, I suppose. Mainly the one thing -- being stupid -- predicts the second thing (being chickenshit). Reminds me of Jimmy Johnson's speech that "fatigue makes cowards of us all."

Isn’t Scaramucci the new standard for a short term of employment?

CD, there is no evidence there was any kind of demand for Barstool's product on ESPN. If a business does something that a significant percentage of its employees find offensive, even demeaning, that something had better bring in one hell of a lot of money. PS: Vince Lombardi was the first to popularize the saying "fatigue makes cowards of us all." Johnson just borrowed it. Of course, Lombardi may have borrowed it from some other coach before him.

Pretty sure Lincoln tweeted it originally.

Man, Skipper has lost control of that company. His employees do not respect him. If he was a coach/GM, they'd be on-air demanding he be fired.
