    Dark fucking day here in Canuckistan even if we all knew it was coming. Among the greatest - and easily the most "Canadian" - bands to ever come out of this country, there will never be another band like them. That last concert in Kingston was an incredible night, people across the country watching on boats, docks, at cottages, bars and street parties, wherever they could get a feed....I will probably never see anything like that again for something that doesn't involve a puck.

    Wheat kings and pretty things, let's just see what tomorrow brings.....

    Canada's version of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

    Way too young. From what you read he really seems to have been a thoughtful, interesting dude with his head on pretty straight for a rock star.

    Hip shows here in Minnesota were great because, while they couldn't sell out arenas like they did back home, so many Canadians who wanted to see them in smaller venues would come down that places like First Avenue would be absolutely packed and have an electric atmosphere.
