I'm fairly certain most people have no idea what the gun laws actually are.

 

The majority of self-identified gun owners in the poll approve of mandatory Federal waiting periods on purchases (72 percent), banning magazines that contain more than 10 rounds (52 percent), banning bump stocks and crank fire accessories (67 percent).

 

I was thinking more of non-gun owners.

I don't see how any reasonable person could object to the items you listed.

This is either really irresponsible by the LA Times, or there’s a problem.

Law enforcement needs to clear this up ASAP. Conspiracy theorists are already having a field day with this guy.

It’s completely understandable if the guy wants to stay out of the spotlight, as long as he’s still cooperating with investigators.
