I'm not going to claim it's the greatest, but my favorite for its simplicity and its power is David Bazan's "Won't Let Go"

 

Already mentioned, but "Cover Me Up" By Jason Isbell is so damn good.

Saw him live a few days ago and he and his wife performed "If We Were Vampires" together from his new album, which is also fantastic.
