Well, I don't know how "natural" it was. People lost their damn minds from sea to shining sea.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just kind of looked at it another way.

Highly amused today to see ABC assign a total of four different black reporters/correspondents today (including people who they usually bury on weekends) on the NFL-Anthem story just to keep any white people from covering it.

It is a terrible tragedy. That is indisputable.

That it has happened to a miserably failed state only compounds the problems. PR's problems predate Trump by decades, and he is just the foof in charge when the house of cards finally got destroyed.

@The Big Ragu can probably explain the bond issues and bankruptcy details much better than I.

Well, he may have reason to see that as a victory for himself.

As I understand, the ratings only bumped for the pre-game shows, but declined for the actual games--meaning a ton of people were only tuning in to the part where they talked about Trump.

I'm guessin that's just how Trump wanted it to go.

Doesn't the existence of a morning London game have an effect on pregame show ratings? With the fact that Ravens-Jaguars was terrible, could it have been a bridge for some who didn't want to see that out to the bitter end?

I can't personally vouch for this, but I heard second- or third-hand that the game was not on network television?

Which wouldn't surprise me in the least.
