Buckeye Sports Bulletin in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a full-time writer to cover Ohio State football and recruiting.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to both report and write on tight deadlines while actively pursuing creative story ideas for print and online – BSB publishes 24 print issues and 36 electronic editions annually in addition to maintaining BuckeyeSports.com, an affiliate of Scout.com. Experience with social media, message boards, video and photography is helpful.

Experience covering college sports and a knowledge of college football and basketball is recommended, and the position requires office work as well as weekends and evenings at times. Candidates will also assist with copy editing stories and proofing pages. Previous experience with Ohio State athletics is a plus.

BSB offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Candidates should send résumés and 3-5 recent writing samples to BSB editor Tim Moody at bsb@buckeyesports.com.
