The Niagara Gazette, a six-day newspaper in Niagara Falls, N.Y., is looking to hire a full-time sports reporter.

The sports reporter leads coverage of eight high schools, works 1-2 desk shifts a week and fills in for the sports editor as needed.

Send cover letter, resume and 3-5 clips to mike.meiler@niagara-gazette.com.

Haven't finalized pay details yet, but don't expect much for an entry-level position. Probably looking for someone in the area, but will absolutely consider all candidates.

I'm the sports editor. Ideally, the position will be filled as soon as possible, with an eye on high school football previews.

Feel free to PM me or shoot an email with any questions.
