    I read this earlier as well. The stuff about the actual play was interesting but it got a little bloated. But I've seen weird stuff in high school never anything like that. I wouldn't even know where to begin with that.

    Know the coach very well and a few of the players mentioned. Coach is a great guy, very dedicated to high school baseball. Fun to see this story (albeit way too long) come to life.

    According to the 2017 NFHSA softball rule book (8-8-2), it's legal.

    If the league folded after this game, then it broke baseball. Otherwise, please write a better headline. And do better than "most epic" too.
