Seven and a half years, GOP, and this was your best shot? What an absolute joke. No plan, except to hitch your star to a looney bird like Trump to get into power, and you didn't even make a serious effort. Forget about Hilliary, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and any other Democratic straw person you care to name, the problem is Ryan, McConnell, Cruz and even the man in the White House have absolutely no clue except "but Obama!" There's who has led you down the wrong path. Blame the Democrats? Nice knee-jerk reaction. But try inviting them to the table.

Not only a GOP majority, but the Dems were never invited to the table. And does anyone really know what was in the damn thing anyway?

The Republicans are getting harder and harder to take seriously as a political party.

I think, after the shitshow of the last six months, it's gonna take something more than "emails! Benghazi!" next time around.

 

Or the fact that they couldn't include the two female members of their own party who have been nos all along to help craft the bill and get them to vote yes. Which says a lot about McConnell and friends that they'd rather try to poach a couple votes from the other side rather than work with their own, even just a little.

 

That meme that was going around Facebook depicting the all-male House committee debating its health care bill comes to mind. Starting to wonder if the GOP leadership thinks McConnell got mysterious powers after the year-long duck-and-weave on Garland.
