The mention of a misdial to an escort service reminded me of one of my first times using the Internet at work, back in the late '90s. I knew barely more than zilch about the Internet and was trying to figure it out. So I typed in "California Angels" and up came an escort service in Santa Ana.

 

Did this break too late to make it on Finebaum's show or did PAWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLL break into the local news?

He could have flipped it to private and used a fake Google Voice number to mask his escort calls. Those come up as calling the GV number and not Destyneee the Dancer.

He could have used Kik. That's what most people use now.

Or, yes, the tried and true burner phone in his office. Go to a store somewhere outside of the state while on a recruiting trip and buy it. Stash it in your office and use it when you need to.

He would have been much safer with his girlfriend on the back of his motorcycle on a windy, country road.

I was a library clerk at the biggest library in Pittsburgh while in college. Giant front desk that handled check in, sign out, library card registration, etc. We had internet access on our computers and were allowed to use it when times got slow. One of my coworkers was native Nigerian and moved here when she was like four. One day I look over at her and she's white and says, "help." She ran in marathons and wanted to buy a new pair of shoes. Went to look at shoes on Dick's Sporting Goods website but didn't know the web address. So she typed "dicks.com" into the browser.

 

Probably thought a paid escort would be quiet. How many "Coach X is banging booster Y's wife/daughter/hairdresser" rumors pop up annually in college football?
