    The way the Mets' season is imploding, they will manufacture a way for him to be a September callup.

    They'll trade away Bruce and Granderson for some minor leaguers, and Cespedes will get hurt again, then the Mets will claim they need some roster fillers from the minors. Touchdown Timmy fits the bill.

    Small sample size BUT since the promotion:

    .327 (15-for-47) with a .410 on base, two doubles, three homers, 10 RBI, 6 walks, 9 strikeouts in 15 games
