Never do we see Trump supporters here saying, "boy, what is going on is great." It is only criticism of their perceived enemies, the Democrats, the Other, the free press, etc. That's why the Senate health care bill doesn't get mentioned here much. It cannot be defended without saying "I'm a monster who wants people to suffer and maybe die because rich people need more tax relief." What they really mean is, "no amount of human suffering is too much if it allows me to say suck it libtards."
I have more respect for the bloated losers who show up at Trump's rallies. They're just marks for a con, which can happen to anybody.

Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) is having a "town hall" tonight. Except she has security at the door throwing out anyone who "looks likely" to protest. It's not just that they're heartless bullies, they're chickenshit cowards to boot.

Same here ... but probably for a very different reason.

Can't believe she would act like that.

Last week, Danville, Va., anti-tax tea party activists claimed they were “refused an opportunity” to ask Rep. Thomas Perriello (D-Va.) a question at a town hall event and instructed by a plainclothes police officer to leave the property after they attempted to hold up protest signs.

    Town halls gone wild

One judged people by the way they looked. One judged people by their actions.

This tweet has been making the rounds quite a bit, with a lot of predictable retorts about children with cancer, but what I think he actually meant is perhaps even more sinister -- "based on personal responsibility" is referring to the payer, not the victim, which is to say that the modern GOP is not saying that irresponsible kids get cancer but rather that your kid's cancer is not the public's problem.
