    Meet Brazil's Most Valuable Arm

He's 5-8, about 140 pounds. His father is the Latin LaVar Ball. My friend who's tutored MLB draft picks and D1 pitchers says with better mechanics he's at best a mid- to lower-D1 college prospect.

I don't know where you pulled 5'8" from, but the only height description in your link says "generously listed at 5'10."

    Short, yes. "Midget", no.

The story is a real letdown compared the thread title.

5'8" is a midget? Me and my 5-foot-4 frame would like to have words, sir ...

Of course not, presuming that claim is even accurate.

Here's the other article I've seen about this kid, also describing him as 5'10", 165 lbs.

Seems goalmouth might've engaged in some clickbait tactics here. Use the word "midget" in the title and exaggerate his smallness in the description to draw people in ....and only after clicking do they discover there's no meat to those claims.

If you say "midget" in a headline, you better bring a fucking midget.

I've heard of a young lady named Bridget who works in the film industry who might be described as such, but I'm not about to go looking for images while I'm at work.

I have a sister-in-law named Bridget who is only 4-11. Needless to say, we've had some fun with the name
