Yes, that's one reason. He may have also consulted with Scalise's physicians.

He was there earlier in the day, and I heard one report that he was consulting with them.

Trump brought with him to the hospital Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician, who had visited the center earlier in the day to ascertain Scalise's condition from doctors there.

It's not a food. It's a crutch weak people use to relieve their stress at being insufficient to handle life's woes.

    Jesus Christ.

They should do a beer campaign around you as the least interesting man in the world.

It's absolutely a food. In no way, shape, or form did one beer affect my central nervous system in a noticeable way. I drank it because I like how it tastes.

That would make sense. He almost certainly has more experience with GSW trauma than anyone they have on staff. I read that Scalise was hit in the hip and that the bullet went through his abdomen from side to side, so you're looking at pierced intestines and a risk of peritonitis at a minimum, perhaps more depending on what was hit.

    Link?

I don't think you're so naive to think he's the only person who's this angry with Trump.

EDIT: Mister Creosote beat me to the first sentence.
