Based on where he got pulled over, there's a good chance he got loaded at his own restaurant, and was on his way home.

You'd think someone in his employ might have tried to take away his keys.

It's one part of their lives they can "control."

Hell, I didn't realize he was there long enough to conduct a practice.

It's actually pretty easy to understand. The insanely rich are never told no and enjoy the euphoria of feeling invincible. Despite the continuing downfall, Tiger still maintains the giant ego that made him the world's greatest golfer for a decade-plus. He's not going to deign to have anyone else help him. And that kind of thinking is only exacerbated by alcohol. I mean, why does anyone get a DUI? You can always find an alternate way home if you want to.

Money. People stupidly don't want to pay for a cab.

I know I might be extreme in my judgments, but you drive drunk, you're a bad person. It's such a selfish, asshole decision to get behind the wheel when you've been drinking. Glad Tiger didn't kill anyone this time. What a colossal stain of a human being.

No excuse for it, particularly since he's the kind of guy who can afford a driver.

He can afford it but we also know how cheap he is.

I've never had a DUI but I can't imagine it isn't a lot more expensive than the last Uber or Lyft I took
