When the Beatles put out "Love Me Do" the Stones were playing tiddlywinks in London alleyways. The Beatles were vomiting on stage and setting condoms on fire in their dressing rooms in Hamburg strip clubs while the Stones were still doing schoolboy homework.

She's a lot better to listen to on mute.

"Satan's Bed" could make a big comeback rerecorded as "The Ballad of Fucko."

A "Candle In The Wind" for 2017.

I completely understand Madonna's importance and influence, but musically, she sucks.

Always thought that was one of their worst songs.
It just seems to drag on forever.

Pearl Jam's my favorite band -- there, said it -- and it might be about my least favorite song. Definitely least favorite among songs that went mainstream.

The Beatles formed in 1960, the Stones in '62.
The Beatles first single was 1962, the Stones in '64.

    To Star, sequence = causality.

Yes. Understand his significance and like a number of his songs, but a lot of his stuff is lyrical jibberish.

I'm pretty boring, I think. I largely think that critical/historical consensus has it right when it comes to the big acts.
