Only 19? Having just had The Station Memorial dedicated yesterday in my neck of the woods, that thing unrolled in slow motion. No word of casualties around deadline that night, an hour or two after it happened. Deaths in the teens when I woke up the next morning. And it just kept growing and growing all day and all night - it was Rhode Island's 9/11. Who didn't know somebody killed or badly burned?

If Rhode Islanders claim it as their 9/11, that takes some chutzpah.

Looks like either the tweet was deleted, or Twitter bid him adios.

    Either way, good riddance.

Tweet was deleted. I'm not a fan of Twitter mobs, but that guy knew that there were fatalities (he said so in the tweet), and his response has made him seem like even more of a dick. He's a freelance writer. How dumb can you be?

And like Elliotte, I use likes to bookmark stories I want to read. But in this case, I fear that the likes are likes.

All you'd have to do is look through the photos of the missing—mostly teenage girls—to realize how sad this is for so many people. I get jokes, I get gallows humour, but Jesus.

He's a "gaming journalist." Those weirdos probably enjoyed it.
