Been a hot minute since the days one spent praying Cliff Ronning and Patric Kjellberg could eek out a goal or two in front of Mike Dunham. Wow.

I still hope the Ducks all eat Hattie B's on the plane ride home and get the hot chicken shits.

JC must be thrilled that Canucks ex-patriot Kesler failed this round. Kesler was beaten up. He was slashed in the hands a lot, just like Perry. He lost faceoffs that resulted in the first two goals. He and Silfverberg were minus-4 tonight, while Cody Sissons was plus-5. How can that happen? Having a shitty goaltender is one reason. Bernier should have stopped all of the first four goals.
So now the Ducks have to ask serious questions about John Gibson. For three seasons, he has looked great, then gotten some mysterious injury. Hate to throw out "injury prone," but there is no other way to describe him. When he'd have his groin strains and shoulder bruises during the season, it's OK. But you always wondered, what if that happens in the playoffs. And now it has. Bernier was auditioning for Vegas, but he failed that one tonight.

Feel bad for Kessler playing hurt, he's such a clean honest player. Perry too.

    Classy team those Ducks.
