Well hell, Rangers win their 10th straight. If they can push that streak to 20, they might gain a game or two on the Astros.

Lance McCullers came, saw, and was RAW.

    Knee slapper.

  5. Why the Phillies have not put Velasquez in the bullpen (or out to pasture) yet is beyond me.

He is 24 years old, so a tad young for the pasture. Maybe they move him to the bullpen or send him to AAA now that Nola is back.

Comedy is hard Wenalway. If you want to insult me, make people laugh while you do it.

Another horrible start by 5 inning Jake today.

He was RAW today. Even the announcer said he was scattering hits.

Great tip, especially coming from you, SnoCone.

Arrieta was sharp yesterday. I'd still like to see him go deeper into games again. But a lot of the advanced metrics sites were flagging his bad start as at least partially attributable to bad luck. I don't know what his velocity was like yesterday, but it had also partially returned recently.

Schwarber, Rizzo, and Russell need to start hitting their weights, though. Other than raw Deer-Kittle-Reynolds power, I'm not convinced Schwarber has the goods at this level.
