Do you have a passion for track and field and being behind the lens?

MileSplit is looking for a regular photographers and video contributors in many states to help with our growth in coverage of meets across the country.

This would be a paid position by event, during which you would be responsible for getting complete photo or race video coverage of the top cross country and track meets within the state, as well as interviews with top athletes and coaches. The contributor would be responsible for editing and uploading the photos or video content to MileSplit.com within a 24 to 48 hour window post-event.

Must have experience covering track & field, along with a strong written portfolio and an ability to be versatile with multimedia. A passion for track & field and following the sport is also necessary.

Regular paid writing assignments are also potentially available for meet previews, Q&A's, meet recaps, features and other content ideas.

The job could expand into even greater work opportunities within MileSplit depending on the person's skill set and passion to cover the sport.

If interested in this contributor position, please contact Brandon Miles at brandon.miles@flosports.tv for more details. Contact your local MileSplit state webmasters not listed below about potential contributor opportunities as well.

Was hoping to see Texas here. I'm a longtime track nerd who covered T&F for years -- though not for the past several -- and would love to pick up some freelance gigs for area meets.

Did some work for MileSplit way back when, directly for the founder (and was a subscriber for a long time). And Brandon's an old timer who started the Virginia site in the early 00s. I know FloSports and private equity are heavily involved now, so can't speak for current conditions, but this is a big name in track and field media.

Idaho/eastern Wash. area....not for less than $40-$60 depending on the story or stories.....I set the pay but am very reasonable. Track season almost over so my timing sucks. But I did contact you. Texas, Cali, etc., don't always need the extra attention. Idaho isn't the most undercovered state in the USA, not the most 'overcovered'. Thanks though!
