Fyre Festival disaster

    I think it's because this was such an obvious scam, these people walked in with eyes wide shut. It's the old silent movie walking over the banana peel and falling in the manhole bit.

    Was writing a post to this effect when Gee's came up. It's one of those cases where a promoter overpromised and couldn't deliver, or figured they could throw lots of money (which it appears they didn't have) at a problem and fix it.

    It's actually a little above 12 per day. That allows for those occasions when all-out vigilantism is required.
