Yes, O'Brien sat because the Jets had Richard Todd as the starter, coming off an AFC title game appearance (albeit in the strike year), and Pat Ryan, who was a solid backup.

After the Jets sent Todd to the Saints, Ryan was the starter the next season and was doing pretty well until he got hurt. So O'Brien really sat for nearly a year and a half.

You're handling this much better than I am, Q.

That's the limit of his discussion ability. He makes one weak point that gets rejected Mutombo-style. Then he pretends the rejection never happened, and he returns to the original point.

Bears just moved back nine picks in second round and got extra fourth-rounder, extra sixth-rounder and extra fourth next year.

Surprised to see Cook not taken in the first round — he was one of the best athletes in D-I at Florida State and could be used at several positions in an NFL offense, I would think. We'll see how he does with the Vikings.

Again, I probably watch way too much college football and not enough televised scouting combines ...

Is there any more natural fit than Joe Mixon to the Bengals?
