I really hope it's not, but wouldn't be surprised if it is.....

Michael Irvin under investigation for alleged sexual assault

    I generally like Irv.

Moneyline: Irvin, who works as an analyst for NFL Network after a 12-year career with the Cowboys, said the woman, a cosmetologist, texted him the next day, requesting him to “come for a facial when you get back to Ft. Lauderdale,” per TMZ.

Something says she's used to facials. Both giving and receiving.

So what network will he drop to now with this legal situation?

Home Sports TV, from 1984 in Dallas?
    FS2?
    Pac12?

Gee ...other than his 1996 sexual assault allegations, his 2007 sexual assault allegations, or his multiple prior drug arrests.... there's nothing in his history or demeanor to suggest he might be capable of such a thing.

Those were a complete fraud and I believe the woman ended up being convicted in relation to making a bogus accusation.

This is where I differ from guys like Chef2. I don't understand the 'dammit" part. What do you have invested in Michael Irvin that this news would bring you down?
    I'm not judging, just wondering.

Fair question. He's dealt with stuff like this before obviously. I think the "dammit" part was because I generally like the guy. (No, I'm not a Cowboys fan)
I have nothing invested in Michael Irvin whatsoever.

Michael Irvin has a great personality. So do a lot of douchebags.

At least he didn't stab her in the neck with scissors...

I've never understood fans' attraction to Michael Irvin. He's a mealy-mouthed moron who laughs a lot. I'm sure he's great to party with, but he's more or less unintelligible on TV and never adds anything insightful.

He was a great player who helped my favorite team win many games and some titles.

I'll grant ya that. But that's no excuse to put him on television to talk about football.
