    But there is no upper limit for when these guys retire. A sure fire hall of famer could die while still coaching. Another consideration is coaches who have a hall of fame career, but end it with .500 seasons and NIT appearances.

    And they'd still be hall of famers if they limped to the line. Players do it all the time.

    My thing is why do we need to put in guys like Bill Self now? Why the hell is Eddie Sutton or Lefty Driesell forced to keep waiting?
