Students lay into reporter on Twitter; school apologizes

Sports reporter in New Hampshire takes what could be seen as a swipe (albeit small) at a student section on Twitter, and the students respond with profanity and personal attacks, including one about the report's mother. School official apologizes for the students. Not sure who tipped off the school about the tweets, perhaps the reporter himself. Kids claim this isn't the first time the reporter has gotten on their school.

My feeling is that it's Twitter, and if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. If he was indeed the one who tipped off the school official, he seems a bit thin-skinned, considering these are 15-18-year-old kids. Who cares what they say.

Outside of NH, has anyone heard of Bedford HS? This guy may have helped someone get a scholarship.
