One of my favorite comedic lines ever, "I don't know if y0u've been keeping track of current events, but we just got our asses kicked out there"

What the hell, complication from surgery? I've had three operations (achilles, two shoulders) , and I remember the second time thinking while getting wheeled in, "damn people die under anesthesia, let's not take this for granted."

I nearly died under anesthesia during an appendectomy a couple years ago. Apparently, I'm overly sensitive to narcotics (which was not known prior to the surgery), so when they administered the anesthesia, I overdosed, coded and had to be resuscitated. Worst part was, they didn't tell me or anyone else. A nurse accidentally mentioned it later that night ("I heard you had some trouble in there") and her face dropped when she realized I didn't know about it ("Uh, I don't think I was supposed to say anything about that, let me get the doctor").

Yep, anything can happen when you go under the knife.

RIP to Paxton. Loved that guy.
