Who are all these athletes going to see when Dr. James Andrews retires or kicks the bucket? Is there another rock star orthopedic surgeon waiting in the wings?

Neil El-Attrache is the guy on the West Coast.

Tom Brady's surgeon and now one of his bestest buddies.

That has become a huge growth industry anyway. "The Arm" took a long look at it. Technique is getting a lot more standardized, and (unfortunately) docs are getting quite a bit of experience starting with HS kids.

As a Braves fan, I so wanted Heyward to be the next Willie McCovey, but it never happened. And it's never going to happen.

He's more like Lloyd Moseby or Eric Byrnes, who were fun and serviceable, but were done as full-time players by their early 30s because they could no longer hit.

It's not really panic, there is just nothing to lose. He isn't worth the money as is but he is useful on defense and base running alone

The problem I have with the proposed rules changes is they are aimed at consumers who don’t even really care about baseball.
I am finally with the soccer crowd: fuck these people.
If you don’t like the sport, if you think it’s slow or dull or not worth your time, don’t watch. No one else cares.
