Liberty makes a boatload of money off its online courses. Unconscionable that they should hire the guy who oversaw Baylor's rapefest as AD.

I liked the article's logic that all the evangelicals will flock to watching Liberty the way Mormons do with BYU. Evangelicals can start a decade-long Cold War with each other picking out carpet for the sanctuary.

Liberty is not going to get into an FBS conference, so I really don't see the point.

Plus, evangelical football fans probably already have an allegiance, and a deep one depending on where they live. Are evangelicals in Alabama going to stop rooting for the Tide and follow Liberty?

It also sounded like they're pinning all their hopes on Turner Gill. Turner Gill, who has one big win in his coaching career, then somehow managed to make Kansas even worse.

It won't be enough, and it shouldn't be.

Baylor's new co-offensive coordinator has left after joining the school in January. He went to Baylor from Ole Miss, where he had been for less than a month. Supposedly headed to U. of Washington.
